Pure raw cacao is an antioxidants powerhouse! Raw cacao contains more flavonoid antioxidants than many fruits and vegetables and green tea.

Cacao is a source of iron, which builds the blood and helps to transport oxygen around our body, as well as potassium, copper, zinc, manganese and selenium.

Eating organically is possibly the best thing we can do! We all have to realise that the majority of our soils in which our food grows are depleting at a huge rate because of pesticides and chemicals. Farming organically is the only way to improve the soil quality and to get the same nutrients from our foods as we used to. Thats why at Chow Cacao we only use organic ingredients!

There were no questions about how and which way to produce our chocolate. It just makes sense to produce our chocolates in the most sustainable and positive way. It means so much to us to give back and empower the farmers and their families.
Traditional
Traditional chocolate is made from cacao beans, so it's plant based! In fact, most chocolate connoisseurs consider milk chocolate to be an abomination. Dark chocolate is the real stuff, and most dark chocolate is vegan.
